Scott is a shareholder with Soukup, Bush & Associates, P.C. His focus is to provide creative and practical tax and accounting solutions for owners of privately held small and medium-sized businesses. Scott’s expertise is income tax and estate tax planning, valuation, accounting, and management consulting. Scott is the partner in charge of the valuation practice for the firm. He became a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) in 1995.

Scott received his B.S. in Business Administration, Accounting, from the University of Northern Colorado in 1988 and is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Colorado Society of CPAs, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Scott is the 2012-2013 Past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Society of CPAs (COCPA). The COCPA is the statewide, not-for-profit, professional association serving over 8,000 Colorado CPAs and the public since 1904. Scott is also actively involved in the Foothills Rotary Club of Fort Collins and in his church.

Scott enjoys spending time with his spouse Allison, and he stays active playing softball, golf, and running a half-marathon from time to time
