Amanda Schmitt

Amanda joined the firm as an intern for the 2014 tax season and formally began as an associate in August of 2024. She works in the tax department reviewing individual and business tax returns. Prior to re-joining the firm, she spent 8 years with a larger accounting firm in Denver. Amanda has expertise in the technology, manufacturing & distribution, and professional services industries.

Amanda graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in May 2015 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in accounting. She then received her Master of Accounting degree from UNC in December 2015. Amanda earned her Certifed Public Accountant license in March 2017.

In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons, traveling, playing board games or card games, and party planning.
