Utilizing the Soukup, Bush & Associates Client Portal

We wanted to put a spotlight on one of our most useful tools we have to communicate with you - our Client Portal. In this issue we will give you an overview of the important aspects of our Client Portal, as well as a brief instruction guide so you can begin utilize it to communicate with us right away!

What is a Client Portal? 

            A Client Portal is a web-based file storage vault for sharing data. You can access it from your web browser using just your e-mail address and a security password. The Client Portal uses an encrypted connection (at the same strength as online banking!) to securely transmit data to and from your private vault. This portal will allow us to work together efficiently, while safely exchanging working documents, .pdf files, and even large files like QuickBooks and other tax documents that may exceed the capacity of your e-mail account. 

Is the Portal Safe? Will the Portal keep my Documents Private?
            Soukup, Bush & Associates is proud to offer our working Client Portal. The Portal utilizes state-of-the-art data centers operated by Amazon Web Services, which provides physical security and logical security controls at the infrastructure level. The system is backed up daily, and the data center utilized by Amazon is staffed 24x7 by trained security guards. Your data will remain confidential, and Soukup, Bush & Associates always promises to never release information to anyone other than you and those you have specifically given us permission to.

How do I use SBA's Client Portal?
All current clients should have access to the client portal, and should have received information regarding this either when we made the transition to our current portal, or when you became a client. If you are concerned you do not have access, please give us a call and we can help you get started right away!
             Once you have been provided your username and password information, you may access our portal either by going to https://us.casewarecloud.com/soukupbush, or by visiting our website at www.soukupbush.com. Once there, your username will be your e-mail address, and your password will have likely been provided to you by one of our associates, which you can change at any time in your settings.

How do I Download Documents?

            Once inside, to access any documents we have already uploaded for your convenience, click the "Cloud" button on the top left-hand corner of your screen. From there, select "Files".  

          If you have multiple companies that we do work for, there will be several Client Portals. You may select the one you would like to view by clicking the arrow next to the name of the company, or you may view all files at once by selecting "All Entities".
             To download a document, you may either click the name of the document (this will open it in your web browser), or check the box to the left of the document. From there, you will need to click the three dots on the right hand side of the page, and select "Download".  

How do I Upload Documents to You?
             Select "Cloud", then "Files" at the top left-hand corner of your screen. Then you will click "New", followed by "Upload". A dialog box will then pop up. From here, you may "Select Files", and search your computer, or you may drag & drop your files from your desktop or folder directly to the dialog box to let them upload. Once your files are uploaded, our associates will be able to view and download them to begin work on your tax return or project.


           Our Client Portal has been extremely useful in securely sending private information and sensitive documents. We highly encourage you to take a look and test it out this tax season!
